Tinley Park’s summer events are sure to please anyone looking for a fun day out with friends and family. Circle these dates and lock in your front-row seat to a fun-filled summer!
May Amusement
Art & Garden Market: If fresh produce and flowers are your thing, check out the Tinley Park Art & Garden Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10 in Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. The popular event will showcase nearly 40 vendors selling flowers, gardening supplies, starter veggies, and homemade art. There will also be food, drinks, live music, and live art demos.
Benches on the Avenue: It wouldn’t be summer in Tinley Park without the annual Benches on the Avenue, which are designed by local artists and adorn Oak Park Avenue from 172nd to 176th streets from May to October. Bring your appetite this year, because the 2025 benches will focus on “Favorite Food Moments.”
June Joviality
Cruise Nights: Gearheads will gather to show off their classic cars during Cruise Nights from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays starting June 3 through September 9 (except for August 5) in Downtown Tinley. Join them along Oak Park Avenue from 171st to 173rd Place to check out some sweet rides and enjoy food and live DJ music.
Farmers Market: If the Art 7 Garden Market in May left you wanting more, you’re in luck, because the annual Tinley Park Farmers Market will return from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays from June 7 to October 11. First starting in Zabrocki Plaza near the Oak Park Avenue train station before transitioning in July to the brand-new Harmony Square Plaza just across the street, the Farmers Market features the best selection of fruits, vegetables and fresh flowers!
Music in the Plaza: There’s just something about a summer concert that hits a bit differently than any other time of year, and Tinley Park will have eight of them to enjoy this year! Experience a wonderful evening listening to music under the stars during the Music in the Plaza series from 7 to 10 p.m. on select Saturdays from June 21 to September 27, first in Zabrocki Plaza and then on Harmony Square’s impressive 30×50-foot stage!
Ale Trail: Let out Ale Trail Trolleys do the driving for you this summer from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays from June to August around Tinley Park! Hop aboard at any of the stops and make rounds at some of Tinley Park’s best bars and restaurants!
July Enjoyment
Harmony Square Grand Opening: After more than a year of construction, Harmony Square Plaza will open on Friday, July 18- and you’re invited to come out and help us celebrate! Stop by from 7 to 10 p.m. for a very special concert by The BoDeans, who will rock the plaza with their hit song “Closer to Free” and plenty of others! Stick around for food and drinks at the brand-new Teehan’s and Durbin’s while you help usher in this exciting new era of fun!
Tinley Park Block Party: You’re invited back to Harmony Square that same weekend for the annual Tinley Park Block Party from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 19 and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 20. Celebrate summer with live music on two stages, food and beverages for sale, fun rides and games, and much more!
