The Village of Tinley Park is partnering with the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce to bring you a special Music in the Plaza concert during the second night of Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The Blooze Brothers, a popular tribute to the classic Blues Brothers duo of Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi that was slated to play in Zabrocki Plaza that night, will instead play from 7:15 to 10:30 p.m. at the 80th Avenue train station to become a part of the Oktoberfest fun. Although the location will change, the Blooze Brothers will bring the same energetic fusion of blues and rock to the stage!
Residents will be able to get into Oktoberfest on Sept. 21 for free after 6:30 p.m. with proof of residency. Food and beverage vendors will include the Scoop, Kona Ice, Winston’s Market, Chef Klaus, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Durbin’s Express, Tone Capone’s Tacos and Ben’s Soft Pretzels.
Cancellation policy:
Music in the Plaza requires several consecutive hours to set-up the event. In the event of inclement weather or forecasted inclement weather that would delay the Music in the Plaza show time or creates the need to cancel the event, the Village will publish a notice on Facebook via the Tinley Park Life Amplified, Village of Tinley Park Public Safety, and Village of Tinley Park Illinois Government pages, as well as at TinleyPark.org and VisitTinleyPark.com.
