Starting September 27, Banging Gavel Brews will be pouring for a cause with their latest release, The Verdict is PINK, a Hibiscus and Strawberry Berliner Weisse brewed in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. This beer marks a significant milestone as BGB’s first charity beer, crafted to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer patients and survivors.
BGB will donate a portion of every sale of The Verdict is PINK to two organizations close to their hearts:
- Embrace Emily: A 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in memory of Emily Klaus, a beloved friend who fought metastatic breast cancer with courage. Embrace Emily helps breast cancer patients offset treatment costs, continuing Emily’s legacy of supporting fellow warriors. Banging Gavel has been proud to host their annual fundraisers and are honored to include them in our efforts.
- The Ginger Rugai Y-Me Softball Tournament: A 501(c)(3) charity that funds individual breast cancer researchers at the University of Chicago Medicine.
